In order to support the National Center for Interprofessional Education and Collaborative Practice, the Josiah Macy Jr. Foundation, the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation (RWJF), the Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation, and the John A. Hartford Foundation has awarded a grant amounting to $8.6 million.
The National Center for Interprofessional Education and Collaborative Practice intends to accelerate team work and collaboration among doctors, nurses, other health professionals and even patients as well as to provide health professionals with the competencies they need to effectively deliver care as part of a team.
