The Finance and Rules Committee of the Jefferson County Board of Legislators approved a tentative agreement to contribute $10,000 toward a feasibility study on a 7,000-seat, multipurpose facility for the campus of Jefferson Community College.
The study will evaluate the financial viability of and community’s need for the facility, which would be located where the Whispering Pines Adult Home now stands.
