According to Jackie Screws, Wallace Community College dean of student affairs and Sparks campus, the Wiregrass Foundation is working on retooling a scholarship program to secure funding for other ventures involving Dothan City and Houston County schools.
The foundation is now working on creating a scholarship that would pay for local high school students to take dual enrollment classes at the college said Thomas Harrison, Wiregrass Foundation education director.
