The Greater Kalamazoo United Way and Kalamazoo Community Foundation awarded a $40,000 grant to Kalamazoo Housing Choices and will be administered by Michigan Works and KRESA's Youth Opportunities Unlimited program.
The grant is an initiative addressing one of the three major barriers that keep people from keeping work: transportation. If accepted by the program, people wil be able to get up 30 days of transportation, on either the fixed-route bus service or on-demand van service.

Rivaayat is an initiative by Shri Ram College of Commerce, Delhi to revive various dying art form and solve innumerable problems faced by the artisans. Rivaayat began with reviving a 20,000-year-old art form of pottery that is a means of survival for 600 families residing in Uttam Nagar, Delhi.
