It has been reported that the a year after the community leaders announced an ambitious 10-year plan to end homelessness in Sarasota County, the project is still moving very slowly, raising only $50,000 from the Gulf Coast Community Foundation.
The Suncoast Partnership to End Homelessness, the group running the project, expressed the need to hire a person to solicit more donations.
