The Northern New York Community Foundation will allocate $698,590 for scholarship assistance for the 2012-2013 academic year and the board approved $25,000 in grants for local organizations.
The foundation manages and administers a permanent endowment and funds for the benefit of the community, making grants to support the work of nonprofit organizations and provides scholarships to individuals in Jefferson, Lewis and St. Lawrence Counties.
