It has recently been reported that corporate philanthropy has reached its seven-year low as it has fallen 7% behind its previous year's donations.
The companies collectively gave £134.2 million to arts organisations in 2010 to 2011. The figure is £10 million short from the previous year and is the lowest amount since 2003 to 2004.
