The Healthy Women 4 Healthy Families program of the Center for Black Women's Wellness in Atlanta will be funded through the $157,000 grant from AstraZeneca HealthCare Foundation program, Connections for Cardiovascular Health SM.
By increasing their access to innovative and culturally effective interventions, Healthy Women 4 Healthy Families aims to reduce the incidence of cardiovascular disease and its associated risks among underserved, low-income African-American women.
