Moody's Investors Service reaffirmed Penn State University's Aa1 rating and removed it from the watch list for possible downgrade despite the involvement of a university personnel in a scandal.
The Aa1 credit rating allows Penn State to borrow money easily at a lower interest rate. Moody's expects the school to settle a manageable number of claims without 'substantial financial weakening.'
