The Joyce Awards grant artists of color $50,000 to create new works with cultural institutions annually and it has funded several artists in Twin Cities.
The Joyce Foundation's Senior Program Officer Angelique Power says that arts are a critical part of our lives and livelihood and maybe a gift of $50,000 to artists will make a difference through incredibly impactful projects.
