Women United in Philanthropy of Charlottesville is taking a stand against gang activities and held a workshop entitled 'Gangs: the Wrong Family', the first of four educational events the organization plans to host throughout the year.
Through this workshop, members learned about current gangs, why people join them, how to recognize gang affiliation and what to do as a community leader.
