The Canyonville-based Cow Creek Umpqua Indian Foundation has awarded grants to nine Jackson County non-profit groups in the amount totaling $77,500.
The objectives of the grants are to fund food, healthcare, housing assistance and financing activities of each group's respective causes to help improve Jackson County and build a stronger community.
