Lisa McNew Chapman, president of Central Carolina Community College, and Tommy Chester, a former mayor of Sanford, were honored by the Lee County Community Foundation.
Chapman is the sixth president to lead the college and the first woman to serve in this top position.
Mann is best known for his time as mayor from 2013 to 2022 and as an owner of small businesses, selling both to Fortune 500 companies.
