Flood-Affected Students Find Creative Outlet Through Arts Initiative

The Rural Urban Exchange program brings arts education to children in the region that suffered losses during the flood in July of 2022.

The initiative focuses on fostering trust and providing a supportive environment for students to share their stories.

Currently, the team is working at Buckhorn School, engaging with third, eighth and 11th-grade classrooms.

The project resonates on a personal level for Morehead State University student Summer Little.
