Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos has been named one of the world's 100 most influential people by Forbes.
The list, which includes Facebook's Mark Zuckerberg as well as Apple's Tim Cook and Google's Larry Page, was compiled by the magazine's Global Business Forum, which looks at the world's most influential business people from around the globe.
The 100 most influential people are chosen by a panel of business leaders and social entrepreneurs, and the Forbes list is broken down into five categories: Most influential person: Jeff Bezos, Amazon; Mark Zuckerberg, Facebook; Tim Cook, Apple; Larry Page, Google; and Bill Gates, Microsoft.
Most influential business leader: Rick Warren, Thrive Technologies; Brian Alcorn, Biocybernaut Institute; Amancio Ortega, ConAgra Foods; Susie Tompkins Buell, Gap; and Bill Gates, Microsoft.
Most influential social entrepreneur: Apoorva Pande, Focused Founder; Rick Warren, Thrive Technologies; Brian Alcorn, Biocybernaut Institute; Amancio Ortega, ConAgra Foods; Susie Tompkins Buell, Gap; and Bill Gates, Microsoft.
