The Lakewood Ranch Community Foundation is accepting nominations for its annual Humanitarian and Junior Humanitarian of the Year awards, which will honor individuals and organizations that go the extra mile to make Sarasota, Fla., a better place to live, the Sarasota Herald-Tribune reports.
The awards ceremony will be held on Oct.
24, 2024, and nominees will be chosen from among the community members who have gone the extra mile to make Sarasota a better place to live, the foundation says in a press release.
