Elizabeth Brown has been named president and CEO of the Community Foundation of the Florida Keys, after serving as interim CEO since the departure of Jennifer McComb last year.
Brown, who has been with the foundation since 2001, "brings extensive leadership experience and a deep commitment to the Florida Keys community, making her the ideal choice to lead the foundation into the future," CFFK officials said in a news release.

It has raised more than $100 million since its founding in 1997, and Brown will be responsible for day-to-day operations, as well as fundraising, the Key Largo Sun Sentinel reports.
