Bjorn Lomborg is a Danish political scientist who's made a name for himself in the field of climate change research.
He's also the author of a best-selling book called Lomborg's War on Climate, which argues that humans are causing global warming by releasing greenhouse gases into the atmosphere.
Last week, he gave an interview to the Atlantic in which he offered what the magazine calls "the most reasonable analysis I have ever heard."
Here's a sample of what he had to say: "The evidence is overwhelming that humans are causing climate change," he said.
"It's not a question of if, it's a question of when.
It's a question of how much, if any, global warming we're going to get."
He argued that humans are causing about a third of the global warming that's already happening, and that it's only a matter of time before we see more droughts, more floods, more intense storms, and more extreme weather.
"We are already seeing more extreme weather because of global warming," he said.
"It's only a matter of time before we start seeing more extreme heatwaves, more intense hurricanes, more frequent and more intense downpours."
