The Community Foundation of Greater Dubuque will receive $75,000 in grant funding to train 40 medical interpreters.
The interpreters will provide translation services during medical appointments for non-English speakers.
The gap was identified in October by a group of about 60 local businesses, professionals and nonprofit leaders.
The most recent grant is from the philanthropic arm of Telligen, a West Des Moines, Iowa-based company.
