'Pretty Exciting': Maple Museum Opens in Somerset County With Tube Cutting

Somerset County has been a big producer of maple products since the late 1700s.

Vermont and New York top the list, followed by Maine, Wisconsin and Michigan.

Somerset County is the state's top maple producing county.

The Pennsylvania Maple Museum opened at the Somerset Historical Center on Saturday.

The museum shows visitors why Somerset County taps more trees than any county in Pennsylvania.
