A leading California children's hospital is looking for a director of development to help it raise $600 million over the next decade, the San Jose Mercury News reports.
The director of development, Mothers and Babies Campaign at the Lucile Packard Foundation for Children's Health will be responsible for raising funds for research and treatment of mothers and babies at Stanford Medicine Children's Health.
The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree in business or a related field and at least seven years' experience raising major gifts.
"The director of development will partner with colleagues to lead a cohesive andcomprehensive strategy to promote philanthropic support for programmatic priorities such as prematurity research,maternal-fetal medicine, reproductive endocrinology, and infertility," the foundation says in a press release.
The ideal candidate will have "a demonstrated ability to craft proposals in a complex with multiple stakeholders" and "a track record of successful work and pipeline building approaches," the release says.
