Ŝura Announces Two New Heart Health Features, Moving Deeper into Preventative Health

Oura, maker of the most accurate and trusted sleep tracker on the market, has just introduced two new heart-health features that it says will help its users live longer and healthier lives.

The heart-health feature on the Oura app is called cardiovascular age, which calculates a person's estimated cardiovascular age relative to their chronological age, and the heart-health feature on the app is called Cardio Capacity, which calculates a person's cardio capacity (the maximum amount of oxygen available to the muscles during exercise) based on a test that takes place in a lab and is translated to the heart-health feature on the app, per a press release.

"We're connecting the dots to help our members understand how their habits and behaviors todaylike aerobic activity and sleep hygieneimpact their health as they age and how they can make changes that will pay off later in life," says Holly Shelton, chief product officer at Oura, in a statement.

The company says the heart-health features will help members "understand how their habits and behaviors todaylike aerobic activity and sleep hygieneimpact their health as they age and how they can make changes that will pay off later in life."
