If you're looking for tips on how to tell a better story, Shane Meeker may have just what you're looking for.

The Historian and Corporate Storyteller for Procter & Gamble tells the Dayton Daily News that what you see in your favorite movies can have a big impact on how you tell a story at work.

"If you want to make a difference, you have to start with a story," he says.

"If you want to make a difference in the world, you have to start with a story."

Meeker, who has been with P&G for 27 years, says the secret to telling a better story is to use what you see in your favorite movies.

"If you want to make a difference in the world, you have to start with a movie," he says.

In fact, Meeker says you can use what you see in your favorite movies to tell better business stories at more than 250 companies around the world, including Walt Disney, Ford, Anheuser Busch, Nike, American Express, Exxon Mobil, FedEx, US Bank, and Nationwide.
