Combining Personal and Business Purpose with Hamzah Sarwar

"One person can make a difference."

That's what Hamzah Sarwar, global social impact director at Reckitt Benckiser, had to say in an interview with Drumand it's something he's been working on since he was 14.

Sarwar, who's spent more than 13 years with the company, says his goal is to "create social good, whilst providing for his family," and that's what he's been trying to do since he was 14.

His family, he says, is "one of the most under-served groups in the world" and he wants to do what he can to help.

He's worked with UNICEF, the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, and others, and his Reckitt work has resulted in the creation of a number of social enterprises, including the Hygiene QuestOne Young World League of Intrapreneurs, the World Economic Forum's One Young World League of Intrapreneurs, and the Fight for Access social impact investment fund, among others.

But it's not just business that he's worked on.
