The Dodge Foundation is moving its headquarters from New Jersey's Morristown to Newark in 2024, the New Jersey Star-Ledger reports.

"Amid our transition to Newark, the Dodge Foundation remains dedicated to investing resources in and empowering communities across New Jersey to thrive," Tanuja Dehne, president and CEO of the foundation, says in a press release.

"We look forward to joining the Newark community and embarking on this new chapter in our journey toward a just and equitable New Jersey."

NJB News Now notes the Dodge Foundation's new headquarters will sit across from Harriet Tubman Square, which was revitalized last year.

"It is an honor to have been chosen as the Foundation's new home' and how fitting that their office overlooking Harriet Tubman Square will be energized by the hero's fierce commitment to the conditions that cause freedom,'" says Newark Mayor Ras J.

Baraka.
