Doris Duke, the "world's richest woman," died in 1993 at the age of 80, but her legacy lives on in the form of the Doris Duke Charitable Foundation, which has given away $1.84 billion since its founding 30 years ago, reports Forbes.

The foundation, which was initially funded with $100 million from Duke's father and $250 million from her mother, now has some $2 billion, thanks in large part to Duke's art collection, which includes works by masters such as Picasso and Van Gogh, as well as her wine collection, which is worth an estimated $5 million per bottle.
