Groundbreaking Held For Improvements At Westmoreland Park in Danville
Foundation: Danville Regional Foundation, Community Foundation of the Dan River Region
Groundbreaking held for improvements at Westmoreland Park.
The project has been in the works for at least seven years.
The site currently has an old basketball court, a small shelter and a fenced-in play area for toddlers.
The 3.6-acre property is owned and maintained by the city of Danville and has served as a gathering place and play area.
