The Maine Community Foundation has awarded more than $68,000 in grants to 10 organizations in the Oxford County area, the Portland Press Herald reports.
The recipients are: Bethel Area District Exchange and Food Pantry: $10,000 Cancer Resource Center of Western Maine: $6,210 Denmark Arts Center: $5,000 School Administrative District 44: $10,000 Oxford County Mental Health Services: $10,000 River Valley Healthy Communities Coalition: $5,000 Team Long Run: $10,000 Progress Center: $5,000 Waterford Library Association: $2,400 Western Maine Addiction Recovery Initiative: $10,000

The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) released the Nigerian Sustainable Banking Principles, an agreement signed by 34 banks, including the original eight of the nation’s leading banks, that covered nine key areas: environmental and social risk management, environmental and social footprint, human rights, women’s economic empowerment, financial inclusion, environmental and social governance, capacity building, collaborative partnerships and reporting.
