Four students at Andrews University in Michigan have won second place in the 2023 Michigan Colleges Alliance's College Community Challengealso known as the MCA-C3a challenge in which students are given the opportunity to address unmet needs in their community.

The Andrews team consisted of four undergraduates who have now received $2,000 scholarships from the Henry Ford Learning Institute as well as a stipend of $500 for participating.

The MCA-C3 program is a challenge in which students are given the opportunity to address unmet needs in their community.

Six of the 14 MCA schools took part in this year's competition.

The Andrews team chose to address a lack of advanced technological awareness among entrepreneurs in Benton Harbor.

They worked with Emerge Innovation Hub, a Benton Harbor organization that aims to support local businesses and entrepreneurs, and proposed the creation of an online platform where people can add videos, documents, and website links about technology.

This was the first year Andrews took part in the program, and it plans to do so again next year.
