Parents in Ohio's Hancock County are being asked to help shape the future of early education in their county.

The United Way of Hancock County says two surveys have been created to get input from prospective parents and grandparents, as well as HR professionals and business leaders, the Findlay News reports.

The surveys are available at www.liveunitedhancockcounty.org.

The surveys will be posted by late summer.

"We heard from our community during Community Conversations how important high-quality, affordable childcare is to residents of Hancock County," says Brian Treece, CEO of the Findlay-Hancock County Community Foundation.

"The collaborative effort to swiftly secure funding for a new childcare resource in McComb shows the value of listening to the community's needs and working together to implement a solution."
