If you're planning on attending college in the fall, now's the time to get in touch with the Perry County Community Foundation.
The nonprofit is accepting scholarship applications through Feb. 1, 2023, and it's looking for people who live and work in the county, have a 3.2 GPA or higher, and plan to attend a two- or four-year college in the US, Australia, or New Zealand, per the foundation's website.
"We're looking for people who live and work in Perry County and want to give back to the community," a rep says.
"We don't look at race, creed, color, sex, religion, or national origin," she adds, per the Journal & Courier.
"We look at academic achievement, extracurricular activities, personal aspirations, educational goals, and financial need."
The deadline to apply is midnight.
