The Washington County Community Foundation is offering $125,000 in grants to local first responders through the end of the year.
The grants are available through the Range Resources Good Neighbors Fund, which has given nearly $460,000 to first responders in the region since it began in 2012, the Times Leader reports.
"Dedication, skill, and sacrifice are demonstrated by these local heroes on a daily basis, and these grants have become a special way for us to show our appreciation as well as support them in their service," a rep for the foundation says.
The deadline to apply is March 31.
