The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation (RWJF) will make a major shift in its philanthropic focus, from addressing issues such as smoking and obesity to an impassioned effort promote a "culture of health".
RWJF will enhance its support for grass-roots initiatives that include community clinics and innovations in patient care made by nurses. The Princeton, N.J.-based organization will also collaborate with corporations and government agencies to deliver its ideas and initiatives.
