The Austin Community College District sponsors a statewide conference focusing on helping colleges better serve youth aging out of foster care.
According to the vice president of student support and success systems Dr. Kathleen Christensen, ACC has a strong program to assist the youth coming out of the foster care system.

Employers For Childcare Charitable Group (EFCG), a Lisburn-based charity, has been crowned top Social Enterprise at the Ulster Final of 2014’s Ulster Bank Business Achievers Awards. EFCG seeks to “make it easier for parents with dependent children to get into work and to stay in work.”
