Your View: Why Lehigh Valley Needs An Accurate Census Count
Foundation: Lehigh Valley Community Foundation
The census provides the numbers that determine both funding and representation for our community, says Megan Briggs.
Briggs: For each person not counted, the Lehigh Valley loses $2,093 per person per year.
She says there is increased national risk of an inaccurate count due to underfunding of the Census Bureau, the launch of a new online platform and the current atmosphere of our political state.
