Holiday Fundraising and Food Drives Start Amid Budget Concerns
Foundation: Silicon Valley Community Foundation, San Francisco Foundation
Amid funding concerns, fundraising events and food drives for the holidays will still continue.
As more organizations are cutting safety net grants leaving food banks in budget deficit, Coastside Hope and the Second Harvest Food Bank still launched holiday food and fund drives and were not discouraged to find a way to help people that need their assistance.
