Sanford Announces Joel L. Fleishman Distinguished Professorship

Joel Fleishman is a professor of law and public policy at Duke University.

He is the founding director of the Sanford School of Public Policy.

The Sanford School has established a new professorship in his honor.

The professorship is named in honor of the school's intellectual forefather and founding director.

The chair recognizes his vision in establishing the public policy program at Duke and his long service to Duke.
