The Oak Park-River Forest Community Foundation awarded the Hephzibah Huskies as this year's Outstanding Philanthropic Youth Group. The Hephzibah Huskies is a group composed of Oak Park-River Forest High School students who volunteer for Hephzibah Children’s Association.
The award comes with a $500 prize for the Hephzibah’s Group Home residents. The Celebration of Philanthropic Excellence also honors Donna Myers of Oak Park with $1,000 in grants.
