North Dakota grain farmer Glenn Bauer received $2,500 prize money from America’s Farmers Grow Communities to donate it to his chosen local nonprofit organization. Bauer chose Ruth Meirs Hospitality House, who will use the donation for the renovation of its soup kitchen.
Grow Communities have partnered with local farmers as part of its philanthropic effort to positively sustain and help rural America.
