The third round of recipients of the federal Social Innovation Fund grants were awarded to the GreenLight Fund, Capital Area United Way, The John A. Hartford Foundation, and Twin Cities Strive and Greater Twin Cities United Way.
The fund was created in 2009 by the Edward M. Kennedy Serve America Act where it will leverages public and privatge dollars to address some of society's most pressing problems.
