Investments for Los Angeles Unified School District
Foundation: California Community Foundation, Ford Foundation
The California Community Foundation has secured a $1.5 million investment from the Ford Foundation for extended learning opportunities in up to 15 high schools within the Los Angeles Unified School District, as part of a strategy for improving student outcomes in high poverty communities.
The Ford Foundation is guided by its mission to strengthen democratic values, reduce poverty and injustice, promote international cooperation, and advance human achievement.
