A graduation ceremony for Canine Companions for Independence was held recently for nonprofit and volunteer puppy raisers. The dogs will be whole-heartedly given to 10 people needing service dogs such as the handicapped.
Canine Companions for Independence have been the oldest and largest nonprofit organization that provides trained service dogs to handicapped children, adults and veterans for free.
