The Community Foundation of the Quincy Area has created three permanent endowment funds totaling $500,000 as requested by Dorothy Plank, who bequeathed the money to organizations she cared about through her trust.
The Plank fund endowments will support a scholarship for students from specific high schools with a preference for those pursuing agriculture-related studies, to a designated organization to help fund aspects of its work and mission, and to 11 other organizations.
