Due to limited funding from the federal government for San Bernardino County nonprofits, the Board of Supervisors has approved an agreement with the The Community Foundation Serving Riverside and San Bernardino Counties in which each of the five supervisorial districts contribute $45,000 from their discretionary funds to revamp the ability of charities to tap funding.
Combined, the support from the district adds up to $225,000. The Community Foundation lines up donors with charities in Riverside and San Bernardino counties.
