Des Plaines Community Foundation has presented a $5,000 check to Elk Grove Township Officials for food supplies for the Elk Grove Township Food Pantry.
Des Plaines Community Foundation also assists with transportation needs, housework, snow shoveling, home repair and yard work for the elderly and disabled.
