Margaret Cargill Gives Away $6 Billion

The late Margaret A. Cargill, granddaughter of agribusiness titan WW Cargill, has reportedly left $6 billion to be given away to numerous causes through her Margaret A. Cargill Foundation and Anne Ray Charitable Trust.

This huge charitable donation has made Cargill number one on the Chronicle of Philanthropy’s 2011 ranking of charitable donations.
