The New York Climate Exchange is building a climate campus on Governors Island.
The 250,000-square-foot campus will be a hub for climate research and innovation.
The campus will include the first large-scale mass timber building constructed in New York City.
The Exchange is already operating programs across New York city, including a fellowship supporting early-stage climate technology founders.
