Bloomberg's Mayors Challenge Is One of His Longstanding Bets on Cities. What's It Backing?

The Mayors Challenge is a global competition that aims to identify and uplift innovative ideas from cities around the world.

It is a Bloomberg Cities Network project that was created in 2012.

This year's competition is the sixth and largest to date, expanding the reach of the program to 337 cities globally.

As Bloomberg said, "The most effective city halls are bold, creative and proactive in solving problems"
