Local Groups Receive More Than $926K From Nc Community Foundation
Foundation: North Carolina Community Foundation
Local organizations received more than $926,000 from the North Carolina Community Foundation.
The foundation distributed 108 grants totaling $9 million.
The grants focus primarily on the 16 counties most severely impacted by Hurricane Helene.
A total of $1.5 million in grants were provided to long-term recovery groups, locally led cooperative organizations that help individuals and communities navigate recovery.
