Schwarzman Foundation will imminently overtake the Ford Foundation as the largest philanthropy in America not named Lilly or Gates.
If his past awards are any guide, the foundation seems likely to be a big friend to top universities and other learning institutions.
Long a top Republican donor, Schwarzman was among the biggest philanthropic donors active in the 2020 election, and went big in 2024.
